Boat Landing on Urbanna Creek. You can stop in historic Urbanna for lunch or
go on out into the Rappahannock River.
Locklies Marina on Locklies Creek. This brings you out on to the Rappahannock River by the bridge and Parrots Island
Stampers Bay Wharf on the Piankatank River. Explore the island or enjoy the more protected water of the Piankatank.
Wake Boat Landing on the Rappahannock River. A good place to explore Parrots Island from.
Deltaville
Maritime Museum. A great place to explore Jackson Creek and the mouth of the
Piankatank River
Whitings Creek Landing on Whitings Creek. A protected and secluded creek.
The Dragon Run! A fresh water trip through a cypress swamp, unique in this area, that is filled with wildlife. You may have to portage around beaver dams, and duck under fallen trees. You can see bald eagles, beaver lodges, deer, turtles, and much more if you are alert and quiet.
Gwynns
Island/Milford Haven. Go out
to the deserted barrier islands just south of Hole In The Wall and enjoy the
solitude. It is still feels the same as when Captain John Smith first saw it 400
years ago.
New Point Comfort. A little more adventurous. Paddle the open Bay to the New Point Comfort Lighthouse (the third oldest on the Bay) and then up into Mobjack Bay.
